Our Journey started as an Insurance Consultancy registered in 1995, before converting into a fully-fledged insurance broker in 1997. Manasseh Kawoloka
Chairman
Manasseh Barak Kawoloka is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute (FCII) - UK. He is also a Chartered Insurance Broker and an MBA Graduate, with a best performer award. Manasseh has worked for over 25 years in the insurance industry (over 20 years in management) notably as Branch Manager at Guardian Insurance Brokers (Malawi), Claims Manager for CGU International Insurance and Assistant General Manager (Production and Marketing) for NICO General Insurance Company (Malawi). He was seconded to Sanlam General Insurance Tanzania (formerly NIKO Insurance Tanzania Limited) as Deputy Chief Executive Officer and eventually appointed as Chief Executive Officer and Principal Officer. He once served as a member of Association of Tanzania Insurers, President of Insurance Institute of Malawi after serving in the council at different levels including the position of Education Secretary and part time lecturer for insurance courses at Malawi College of Accountancy.
Lincoln Bailey
Director
Lincoln Bailey is an Economist and holds a Masters Degree in Economics and has over 40 years experience in economic financial management and advising major companies and organizations in both private and public sector; Insurance and business risk management. Mr. Bailey is the founding Managing Director of the Company. Other than Guardian Insurance Brokers, Mr. Bailey is a non Executive Director for other local and international Companies and Organisations.
Videlia Mluwira
Director
Videlia Mluwira is a Legal Practitioner by profession having graduated from the University of Malawi Chancellor College with an Upper Second Class Degree in Law in 2005. She holds a Master’s Degree (with Distinction) in Commercial Law from the same UNIMA obtained in 2015. Videlia is also a Chartered Company Secretary having qualified with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (UK) in 2014 and became a Fellow of the Institute in 2019. Videlia Mluwira is currently the Director of Corporate Services and Company Secretary for the Electricity Generation Company Malawi Limited. She has worked in the banking sector in the past 13 years mainly as Company Secretary, Heading Legal departments and Compliance.
Daniel Ndawala
Director
Daniel Ndawala is a member of Association of Chartered Management Accountants (ACMA) UK as well as a member of Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) UK, Institute of Chartered Accountants in Malawi (ICAM). He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy from University of Malawi, The Polytechnic and he is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. He has over 16 years’ experience in Insurance Industry having worked for Britam Insurance Company as a Chief Finance Officer and Company Secretary.
